But really? Is that all Sims 4 can take?! I think this points the cause of the issue to having too many mods installed. This reduced the lag to a whooping 2 seconds. But I can’t play without mods so have reinstalled only Wicked Whims, Basemental Drugs, Life Tragedies and Personality Please and deleted some optional packages that come with them to keep it to a minimum. So I removed all the mods and the pie menu appeared almost immediately again.
Lots of people seem to have lots of CC and mods installed and have not experienced this issue? I don’t consider having 6 mods and their size too excessive. The mods were: Wicked Whims, Basemental Drugs, Extreme Violence, Life Tragedies, Life Drama and Personality Please. I didn’t keep track of when but somewhere along the line when I had the following mods installed, the pie menu started taking a good 4-5 seconds to appear, which is unbearable. When the game was freshly installed 2 months ago with no mods (1 game, 1 expansion, 1 stuff pack only), the pie menu when clicking on sims/computers works fine and appears almost immediately.
